My journey has been a long one with serendipitous events leading me up to this point. My favorite quote by Rumi goes:
"God long ago drew a circle in the sand, exactly around the place you are standing. You were never not coming here, this was never not going to happen."
That doesn't tell you anything about who I am, but it does give you a glimpse of what I am about. I believe in the power of the Universe to lead you exactly where you are meant to be.
But I wasn't always this trusting.
I remember a time when my life was filled with terror, loneliness, heartbreak, and I was riddled by insecurities and fear.
These things still show up for me, the difference is that now I can access all my various tools to help me deal with, and curb my breakdowns.
It's in the breakdown that the breakthrough happens. I honor the downfall, because from my redemption I realize my strength.

But before I start to sound too preachy and scare you off, here's a little about me.

On a resume I am a certified yoga teacher, a certified Reiki practitioner, and have a passion for using both to help you remove obstacles that exists in your live. Because by nature we are not only excellent self-saboteurs, we're also great and resilient beings that deserve all life has to offer.
The way the human mind works fascinates me, and I know a thing or two about trauma and how it processes in the brain, manifests in the body, and can debilitate a life.
In 2015 I quit my corporate banking job, to start a nonprofit organization called Purple Dot Yoga Project and today it is successfully supporting and empowering survivors of domestic violence, assault, and trauma by offering accessible yoga and awareness in Florida, New York and California.
I will NEVER teach anything I do not know to be truth. I will never suggest anything I have not tried myself
